Pommeau de Normandie is a blend of fresh apple juice and cider with a hit of Calvados. Legally, Pommeau de Normandie must be aged for a minimum of 14 months in oak. Comte Louis de Lauriston ages this one for between 3 and 4 years, producing a softer, more balanced final cider. The apple tones and gentle sweetness of the style make it ideal as an aperitif or digestif. Many people also enjoy it with Champagne or in a cocktail.
