Milky Way
Instructions
1. Prepare a baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with butter. Set it aside.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate chips are completely melted and smooth.
3. Pour half of the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly to form the bottom layer. Place the dish in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to slightly set.
4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt the caramel candies over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth and creamy.
5. Remove the baking dish from the refrigerator and pour the melted caramel over the chocolate layer, spreading it evenly. Be careful as the caramel will be hot.
6. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the caramel layer, gently pressing them down to adhere.
7. Pour the remaining melted chocolate mixture over the marshmallow layer, spreading it carefully to cover the marshmallows completely.
8. Place the baking dish back in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until the Milky Way is firm and set.
9. Once set, remove the Milky Way from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to slightly soften.
10. Cut the Milky Way into desired-sized bars or squares using a sharp knife.
11. Serve and enjoy your homemade Milky Way bars!
Note: You can store the Milky Way bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
